Even for Olive that is an amazing grain pattern.

Is it slightly spalted?

Thanks for the comments.
The finish is danish oil, 3 coats I think .
The tree was growing in the front yard of the house next door and was cut down when the house was put up for sale .
I don't think there is any spalting . All the fantastic wild grain was in the stump, As you go higher up the tree ,the grain is less spectacular but I've got all that stashed away anyway . I also have a large olive rootball from another tree that I haven't cut into yet.
