Made a new guide block for the Tormek Fletty past o to me a while back I had bought the Scheppac woodies kit but found with bowl gouges a restriction in movement.

Haven''t had a chance to test it yet as I have the flu.

Made some roof rack clamp blocks for sons ute to hold the doors and architrave he installs.

Don't stop now, this is just getting interesting.

I'm also looking to make my own Celtic sharpening jig as the Sorby one hits the wheel.

Any and all ideas gratefully received.

Ray,

thinking about it I thought you might like to see the latest Sorby 'extra' for their turning sharpening jig. I took the picture of it hanging on their stand at Yandles (see post by me).

Extra holes to allow additional angle options, did not read the instructions but I'd guess 45º, 50º & 55º.

Bryan this jig is set a different way any angle desired and swivels, then can slide along the bar.

The Sorby one is stationary but has what I'd call a compound set up for use on a normal grinder.

Hope you're feeling better by the 5th for the Blue Mts GTG - rumour has it that it can get a bit fresh on occasions.

Blue Mnts will depend on weather as you say I can rug up greatly but sitting around twiddling thumbs is not good for me, keeping you blokes working on Bret's floor will be hard work.

I guess the heaters will be on at Newy so all will be well.
