Help?

I've recently acquired one of the very first (i.e. cream-coloured) ML8 lathes. The wee beastie came with no documentation at all, so I'm playing the old trial and error game. Rather than bandjax the thing, has anyone out there got either experience or paperwork? With especial reference to the BANDSAW ATTACHMENT? I've already damn near severed a lower digit with a falling table; I mean, how will I continue to swing from the branches if it happens again?

, I just had a quick browse of that site and I don`t think it`s going to be of any use to SammieQ. The site is concerned with Myford metal turning lathes only. The Myford ML8 is a universal woodworking machine based around a wood lathe. It could be fitted with a small sawbench, a bandsaw, a small 4" Surface Planer with overhead thickness attachment, a Disc Sander, a Slot Morticer etc. It had an 8" swing over the bed and could turn 12" outboard. It was built to metal turning lathe tolerances and could even do some light metal turning with the appropriate tool post attachment.

G'Day blokes! I'm grateful for the replies and prompt ones at that. I've already Googled and Myforded et al and the best I can do is replica manuals for the ML8 from the "Lathes" site above; trouble is, no-one has specific paperwork on the bandsaw. Thanks anyway.
