Pepper mill made of old piano...

Hello,

On the weekend I took advantage of a little extra time to turn a 5" pepper mill.
Unfortunately I do not know the timber, if anyone can assist with an indication that would be appreciated... the reference to 'old piano' is thanks to a recent local council clean-up.

The finish is EEE and Danish Oil

It looks like European Maple.

Any idea where the piano was made?

no idea where it was made or it's age... it was very much in pieces when I found it.
