View Full Version : Jacaranda Lidded Box

If any of you haven't got some of Mapleman's Jacaranda, I suggest you do so. Such lovely stuff to turn and it always comes up a treat. I don't usually like making lidded boxes this tall because it sort of looks out of place. However was made to order and to dimension from a drawing.

Sanded to 400g and friction polish. Finished with Nitrocellulose Lacquer.

You can never have enough of MM's Jacaranda! Or any of his other species come to think about it :)

Thanks Chris, it finishes great & an absolute pleasure to turn. A bit dusty at times but great non the less.

Nice work Scott, some nice subtle grain showing on that one.
