G'day
Boxes seem very popular at the moment so here's a few of my latest.
One is blackwood and the others Sally wattle. All are about 70mm wide x 70mm high. They are finished on the inside with EEE and Shellawax and on the outside with DO.I found the apple box the most difficult because it's hard to mount it as one unit to get the profile right. As with all threaded boxes, the biggest challange is in getting the grain to align so you only get to see ones where I got it right.

Not too much applause.I use a threading jig but I was given a set thread cutters a couple of days ago so might just have to try some chaseing.

Some great boxes The last 2 are the tops in my eyes. Screw cutting in any shape or form on wood is something that I have not yet tried, I have to many things on my to do list

Those are all beauties! How do you thread them? Great job aligning the grain. I wouldn't know how to go about that if they are threaded!

I spent 8 hrs with the a 11 tpi hand chaser till I cracked the rhythm. and that was the male thread still to have a go at female threads
with the job I was doing I had to get a custom tap made up due to size constraints.
