I lived in Queensland for a while, nice place, great weather, nice trees, be perfect if you get rid of all the Queenslanders who live there though, be a proper paradise without THEM :p
Had to move back to civilisation (NSW over six million people can't all be wrong can they?)to escape all them banana benders :)

It's a mythical place where all these retired Victorians go......then they turn around and head back where live makes sense, we shall the quote that erstwhile sage Jackie MacDonald "We're all dumb, where I come from"....now where was she from again?
:D :p

It's a mythical place ............
Where you can only dream of being!!

While we accept over 1000 new arrivals every week from the southern states, little is known in the south about our deportation policy.

Undesirables are weeded out & returned to whence they came from!! http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au/images/icons/icon14.gif As you have no doubt found out!!!! ;) :D :D

I certainly wouldn't want to live in a Queens Land, me being a confirmed heterosexual republican!

G'day Knuclehead,

Just don't pile those sandbags too high that I can't drive my car across next week and that you've moved any other deterants.

I live in Sydney (far NW) but want to move to Canberra.
I like Queenslanders but the weather sucks so bad I can bearly stand to visit.

The guards will be awaiting your arrival.
You have been flaged as a possible illegal and as such may be questioned, searched or beaten as necessary.
(cavity searchs have turned out to be quite a good deterant)

G'day Knucklehead,

It's OK I have the correct ID, I have my old Qld drivers licence on me. My intentions are good: I will be exporting some machinery back down across Mexico and into Antartica. :D

The only questionable one is my wifey, she was a Mexican now a confirmed Antartican and I don't think she will recant her now adopted home.

Queensland - only one hour and 100 years behind the rest of civilisation. :p

directly above the centre of the earth.

I am also a Sydneysider and the house behind has two bannana trees with banannas on them.
Maybe I live 50m south of "directly above the centre of the earth." :)

QLD?, Vic?, WA?,

ACT is the only place to live. If we let the secret out we would be flooded.

I really love Victoria, and dont even like visiting Queensland. Will probably retire to north coast of Tassie one day, but dont tell my wife. She might find me.

Oh but I love Queenslanders.
