As a newcomer to this exciting pastime, I would be grateful for any contacts at a local woodturning club so I can gain further experience from others who have developed the necessary skills.I live in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne and I heard there is a club around this area?

Eastern suburbs is a broad term, narrow it down a bit. Please.

There are a few but like said, if you can give us a suburb we can definitely help you out.

There are a number of clubs in Perth, northern, southern, eastern and western suburbs, pop over for a visit.

Rick,

I just sent you a personal message (PM) with a contact phone number for all the clubs and contacts. Check it out.

Good luck, let us all know how you got on.

Thanks Rob,
I contacted Judy as per your advice and she passed onto me some contacts for several woodturning clubs in my area. I look forward to going to some club meetings in the not too distant future.
