Huey, I used the trial pack at DUTA on a small spindle turning (<100mmx 20mm) off the lathe. I have also used it on a smaller bowl (150mm x 50mm) off the lathe. Easy to apply, a small amount goes a long way and reasonably quick recoat time (20 minute ish). Use off the lathe. As with all finishes, the better your surface preparation is, the better the finish will look. 3 - 5 coats gives a good shine.

Hi Hughie,
I am the owner of a Bottle now, & I'm using it, rather than my other finishes at this time.
As Pat says, the better the Sanding the better the Finish.
Now I normally only make small Turnings, & it is brilliant on them.
Made a Scratch Awl today, & used it straight onto the Raw Wood, being Ti Tree, & 2 Coats, Magnificent.
The thing to do is to ask Neil & Pauline about it, & what you want to do with it.
The 1 thing you must do is shake the daylights out of it as you are using it.
I do know Pauline & Neil personally, but that has nothing to do with the Finish.
As Pat said, some of us got to try it at DUTA, & I entered a Pen with Base in our Agri Show & it got 1st. Prize, but it was in Ebony.
