Only 5 months until your entires need to be submitted, so let us all see if we can exceed prior year's entry numbers.

It's now only 4 months till the exhibition and remember that due to clashing dates with the Whitehorse theatre group, the exhibition has been moved forward by a week, and will now be held between 5th and 7th June 2015. This is the Victorian long weekend celebrating the Queen's Birthday.


This means that entry forms must be submitted by 15th May 2015, and the final date for hand delivery of exhibits will be Tuesday 2nd June 2015.

This is the PRESS RELEASE of the 2015 AUSTRALIAN WOODTURNING EXHIBITION I saw last December that may be of interest to all.


We are pleased to announce that the 2015 AUSTRALIAN WOODTURNING EXHIBITION is again in full swing.

Due to clashing dates with the Whitehorse Theatre Group, the exhibition has been moved forward by a week and will now be held on:

5TH– 7th of June 2015 at the at the Waratah Rooms Whitehorse Centre
397 Whitehorse Road Nunawading, Vic Melways Reference 48 G9

Entry forms must be submitted by 15th May 2015
Final date for hand delivery of exhibits to the Whitehorse Centre will be on Tuesday 2nd
June 2015

Following the 2014 exhibition, an extensive review of all processes and procedures have been undertaken, and updates to the “Conditions of Entry” and “Entry Forms” are posted on the AWTEX website (http://www.theaustralianwoodturningexhibition.net).

We are pleased to announce that amongst the changes, a NEW and ADDITIONAL category (“O”) has been included for the 2015 exhibition, to cover “Ornamental turning”. So get turning!!!!!
