Cup tree

A bit of turning this morning, spotted gum cup tree.
430 mm high base is about 200 diameter pegs ate 15mm dia and 80mm long.
ball is a bit wonky.
finished with a bee's wax blend polish.

Hi Chuck1,
Nice piece my only suggestion would be too bore for the tenons twice once to the dia. of you're tenon and a shallow counted bore to accept the full size of the peg to eliminate the small gap at the base of the pegs.

You could move the cross bars a bit closer together on the next one to move the centre of gravity down a bit so it is more stable on its base.

Yes I agree with you both. In regards to spacing for cups they had 4 big cups and I didn't want them to hit each other. Will improve on the next one

I like the way this looks. I have seen them in the shops but really who wants to purchase something from a shop, better in my opinion to make it.
