Thought I would show you what has kept me quite since the begining of May when I got my Lathe up and running. I did not know if I could master turning but spent some of my pocket money on a Lathe and dived in.

I am sure you are loosing weight because of the Virus you got together with your lathe.
Remember to eat and to sleep.
Fantastic production I have seen on the UK forum.<O:p</O:p

Very impressive, especially in such a short time frame. Hard to believe you have never turned before, you must be a natural.

Cheers

Simply Awesome.

If you have any royal shows that has a wood working segment I suggest you put some of your work up in a competition.

You will do well.

Good Luck

Joe

Thanks Neil and everyone else for the encoragement.

For the record just in case I have given the impression I did not know anything about lathes. I was trained as an instrument maker before moving into management early in my career and have had a lot of experience with metal working lathes and equipment, so I do treat the wood lathe much the same, just have to use my hands instead of a powered toolpost.

The UKW Forum (http://www.ukworkshop.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5207)was a great help to me on the basics and provided such support that I just had to do good.
