Finally finished. What better to do in cyclonic conditions.
This is a retirement git for a friend. T myrtle. 3 or 4 coats tung oil, with buffing.

Nothing better than staying home and looking after the place. Then realising that you have nothing to do why not turn a platter.

Really great. You've taken a somewhat simple (albeit nice) piece of wood and made it something spectacular with some very straightforward but thoughtful shape.

This is an aspect of my turning I wish I could improve upon.

To be honest I didn't measure, and it has already been gifted. It was approx. 30cm. perimeter was just inside edge of cole jaws close to full open on nova chuck.
