The Timber is melunack balusters 32 by 32 970 long. and posts are 90 by 90 1.5 long
had to vary the speed between 1800 and 1200 rpm with the bals due to vibration.
I started by marking Timber where the turning will be
then had to mark the centres on both ends 28 bals 3 posts
then it was time to turn, with the posts there is only 50mm of turning so once I cut the pummels / shoulders with skew then removed waste with large detail gouge then back to my trusty 1/2 by 1/2 inch skew to cut and roll the beads
with the bals I only used a 3/8 by 3/8 skew as there is only 25 mm of turning
all up 4 hours which included some tool Sharpening and taping into bundles
This Timber takes the edge off the tools real quick, but comes up nice.
also not really fussed about two beads like this but it's not for me.
Thanks for looking!
