Hi guys,
Had another play with the thread chasers today !
Turned out not too bad i think, just a practice piece
and a bit of fun too!
I gave it to the grandson to play with and he took it home :C:C
Oh,,,, well back to the threads next weekend.

Excellent job, now you have at least one known timber species that will take a good thread... :2tsup:

O.K. Smiifi, you have risen to the challenge and done very well. Now for the second challenge, try for a left hand thread. :D

Nope, I don't have reverse on any of my lathes. That would lift the tool off the tool rest any way.

Hi jim,
Hhhhhuummmmm ,,,,,,:hmm:
Let me think about that.... :hmm:
I might have to have a:beer:or 3

My first thought is start at the back and bring the thread to
the front,,?
So It, s the opposite to a right hand thread !!:sad3:
