Hi All
Although I have "retired" I still love to try my hand when the opportunity presents itself
Did these 2 at Mens Shed last week.
the Camphor bowl is 150 x 100 high and with the Knot I just had to turn it.
sanded to 400, EEE and 3 coats of Shelawax cut with EEE between coats
The clock is a gift for family that are coming to visit next week from Northern Ireland (SWIMBO's idea so I had to rush to the shed)
It is a nice lump of Victorian Black wood, sanded to 400 and 5 coats of Danish oil it is around 210 in DIA and aout 50 mm thick at the centre
It is when I get a chance to do something like this that I realise just how much I miss the thrill of a lump of wood spinning in front of you challenging you to make something from it
Thanks for looking
Regards
