Had a little time off, and decided to work a few ones I'd been saving until I was a bit more confident. Coachwood (31cm), London plane (about 25cm), and swamp mahogany (bit over 10am). Tung oil and beeswax.351194351194351197351200351200351200

Love your work . The shapes are simple but flowing. Are the beads done free hand or with a beading tool.

Beads on coachwood by hand. Raised rib on swamp mahogany patterned using wire brush.

Hello Mate
I really like the bowl with the 5 or 6 beads on the outside rim. A classic yet simple shape and dobe very well.
The bowl with the raised rib on swamp mahogany patterned using wire brush, is nicely finished, but the foot looks like it is yet to be finished, it looks like a tenon, too large, sorry
Cheers
Willy

Hi willy, mate, you're spot on re the swamp M bowl foot. Unfinished tenon. Your advice is appreciated and will be front of mind when I finish. Cheers.
