Not much chance of me ever owning one. I thought you folks might like to see the US answer to the Wadkin.

I will put in an offer, but the freight could be a problem?.................. Naaaah. would have to build another to the shed, and swmbo will perform a bit. Pity.

Hey Paul, you got my heart in a flutter, thought you were buying it for me to have a go on when I come over next.
Looks like a simplified metal lathe with the cross slide and the ability to use hand held tools as well.

Dike Marlow had a larger one of these in his Sydney workshop in the 80s.
Before he started his writing career under another moniker.
He replaced the flat belt headstock with something a bit more user friendly.
I had a Sagar myself that I used a Hamada headstock on.
They are here in Oz if you want one.
But be quick the great Oz industrial auction is now nearing its final daze.
