This is from a piece from a entertainment unit that no longer met requirements. Picked up a few slabs from a sad owner who just couldn't keep them any longer. This is the first piece from that wood. 32 cm diameter. Tung oil.358223358224358225

Very nice indeed I like the outside shape nice and flowing, the two beads add to the top side and make a great boundary between the rim and bowl

Turned freehand (nervously and carefully!), with some Sanding.

A nice platter but you really should have got rid of the mounting dovetail I think .
