It can be quite surprising how unwanted wooden crates can be turned into useful home furnishing masterpieces. With just a bit of effort, you can transform your wooden crates into so many useful items in your house.

If you are looking for a fun woodwork project and have some extra wooden crates to spare, below are some ideas worth considering:

- Use two wooden crates as stands and place a plank or glass on them to make a coffee table
- Combine four wooden crates to make a beautiful coffee table with shelves
- Stick a beautiful piece of wood on your wooden crate and make it as your outdoor living area side table.
- Paint your wooden crates into beautiful pastel coloured crates and use them to store your shoes or toys

You know it can be very surprising how your outsourced Indian SEO Company keeps creating useless threads. It is not like this forum has not run several years of "Create-with-a-crate" competition threads that are more informative.

But for my useless comment needs I prefer Mike100's post at the homeone forums recommending using polyurethane or epoxy based varnish to protect your newly restored antique furniture, as it is a durable finish.
