I bought one of these a few months ago and was wondering if anyone knew anything about it.

I bought one just the same in the early 80's when Frigrite closed down, they told me it had been there for 50 years that they knew of.
I sold it 15 years later and it hadn't missed a beat in that time. It happily resawed 8" Jarrah and Karri beams. A really solid machine, simple but then who needs a complicated bandsaw!

Good score.

Have fun,
Alli

Thanks Alli. When it arrived it had some drift due to a line of resin down the blade but a new blade and it was cutting like a bought one. Also has a replacement single phase 2 1/2 HP motor which seems plenty powerful enough with a sharp blade.

So if it was 50 years old in the 80s then that makes it pre-WW II, Hmmm. Mine came from a winery where they used it to make wine barrels and appears to be well maintained.

Would still like more info on it. I am curious that way.
