Random spirals with a few voids, a bit of a departure from my usual. But some times you have to branch out try something new or different.
Stands about 200 mm high and has a dia of 160 mm at its widest. DO and Nitrocellulose, EEE buffed and probably needs a bit more to dial it back some.
Be interested to get some thoughts on this variation, fire away. :U

Hughie,
I like it a lot. I like random, asymmetrical things. I lean towards bowls made from crotches, roots, stumps, etc. for the unusual figure.

Hughie, very nice work, have turned a few pieces like that,but the skew didn't go that deep, nice save:D LOL
All BSA, excellent piece of carving and love the finish. Top marks to you for doing something totally left field.:2tsup:

I agree is it very different to what we are used to seeing from your pieces. The second photos sort of reminds me of a wrapped up mummy.
