Kiln burner query

Hi everyone,
My partner and I purchased a gas kiln recently. The piping/tubing and fittings for the gas burner are quite old and we'd like to tidy them up a bit and replace some of the older parts. Does anyone know where I can find out about purchasing replacement parts, or if a gas fitter is required to make changes to them? My partner wasn't sure on regulations in that regard, and being a kiwi, I'm not familiar with such things over here in Aus!

On the Metal Work forums there are two members (AndrewOC and Corin) who work for a company called Gameco.
Game are professional gas equipment suppliers and supply stuff for kilns and forges etc.
I suggest you contact either of those two members.

If you are doing this for professional purposes you will have to get it done professionally and even if you aren't professional I believe it's like electrical work still illegal to do this yourself.
A professional gas fitter will be able to do all the proper tests etc and write a new certificate for the installation that are required after fitting new parts etc.
For example any insurance you would have on your property would be invalid if something went wrong.
