Hi guys,
I was wanting to do some chatter work
What sort of tools do others use?
Home made or shop bought , I was interested
In what anyone else has, or is using ?
Any help would be appreciated.:U

A piece of clock spring, or hacksaw blade, or bandsaw blade. If using a holder - vice grip pliers - vary the length outside the jaws.

A junk store bread knife, long and skinny, vary the overhang off the tool rest. Wear face mask in case something snaps off.

Look at photos of commercial ones for ideas.

Had a bit of a play today, made 2 handles, cut
a hacksaw blade in half , and made my own tools,
Then went in for lunch , and would you believe i just
happen to find a butter knife in my pocket , ah well
may as well try that too .!:o...........these are the results.....
