Ebonised pierced glitter bowl

Tomorrow is club night and yet another competition, well I managed to complete this bowl yesterday only after twisting wrong while washing the car and buggering my back in agony all day yesterday and today.

Also a short video hopefully showing the glitter effect even though the glitter does sparkle in red,green,blue and silver which is not that clear in the video. Hopefully will get some photo's up soon as well.

Luckily at the club tomorrow I will be sat down all day.

Stunning piece . Do you use some sort of jig while drilling the holes ?

Ted sorry for not getting back yesterday as I was at the club all day. Competition went well and gained a respectful joint 1st. The holes are drilled using one of THESE (http://www.axminster.co.uk/axminster-hd-flexi-drive-reciprocating-carving-head-package-deal-718669) but with a drill head then sanding to clean them up with sand paper on dowels of different sizes. They don't take that long and can be done while sitting down
