This lidded box measures 70mm high and 55mm diameter. Made up with a combination of jarrah, black bean, purple gidgee and some kwila. I used a piece of budgeroo to cut the threads. The block was glued up about 12 months ago, had to wait for the glue to set... :) can't rush into these things.

I am looking at this piece that you made and I love the puzzle that is in this piece. It gives an image of complexity. :2tsup:

Breaking up each ring(piece) with a contrasting wood, really nice idea for this piece.

Sure is a lot of work in a small item. Nicely made to boot!
Do you make this sort of item with the intention of selling it, or just for fun. Or both?

Thanks for the comment, I make these because I like too, however, my wife is always commenting that they tend to breed so I do sell them...... sometimes.... :wink:
