G'day guys. I have some sandpaper to add to the fence on my cross cut sled, but am unsure what glue to use. was thinking PVA thinned with water. any experiences shared will be greatly appreciated

Contact adhesive in a spray can.

Specifically, Scotch/3M #77.

Or, anything that sprays in a nice fine mist. Here, you can get the same stuff. One type sprays thick and messy, the other sprays light and even.

You could do it with a spreader and regular out of the can Kwikgrip, but if yer anything like me it will be lumpy and the crap will go everywhere.

I don't put paper on my sleds, but I do stick it to a hunk of granite for flattening things. Even the light duty glue works great for that. ;)

Lumpy will give you an uneven surface. Use spray on glue.

spray all the way .

I even use it for my snader that takes sticky backed paper. I buy cheap sandpaper in bulk and cut my own disk and just spray and stick. :)
