I have a 1x10tpi chuck insert that I had on my vicmarc lathe back when I owned a tough lathe. It is just sitting in the cupboard now and doubt I will ever use it so I am giving it away.

I used to have a tough lathe and bought a vicmarc chuck back then. Since sold the lathe now have a vicmarc lathe and use the metric insert.

I have a tough lathe and bought a Vicmarc chuck off eBay which was listed as having a 1" thread more like 10mm. Hopefully this will fix the situation.
