I just purchased triton 2000 workcentre and Toshiba C9 circular saw. When I put them together I have problem lining in the saw guard lock ( the one that looks like a fin). The saw blade and the guard itself are okay. I have no problem guiding the cut through the guard, but when it gets to the guard lock it gets very tight. Basically I have to push the wood. I noticed that the lock is about 1 - 2mm out the the left the whole length. Does anybody have this problem? I tried to bend it by hand etc but I can get it to linup properly with the guard.
Also the plastic clips to hold the blade, are they strong enought??

Make sure your blade is zero'd to the fence.

Wind your blade all the way down.

Then make sure your guard support is zero'd to the fence.

If your blade is zero'd. Then your guard support must be zero'd. Thats the way its made.

Actually regardless of wheather you've been able to zero your blade, the guard support should come zero'd from the factory.

If not then Triton will replace it.

Let me know how you go.
