I've posted this same information in the Small Timber Milling forum, but thought I'd also post the information about the camphor here where woodturners can see it.
Next week I have a contractor coming to drop a large hoop pine and a camphor laurel. I'd rather see them utilised than shredded.
The camphor branches low and won't yield much in the way of slabs, but there will be plenty of meat for smaller turning projects.
Is there anyone interested, and can you remove them within a reasonable time frame?
If so, please send me a private message, and we can cut to your requirements.
Thanks,
F
