Segmented Turnings

I started woodturning around 2002 and over the years tried different ideas with spindle turning and bowl turning from blanks, then i started to experiment with segmented turnings and these are some of the results i would like to share with members and guests.

Only 3 posts since joining the forum in 2009, but you certainly know how to make a good impression. The one on the right has me a little intrigued, any chance of a couple more pics of it please.

Alan, thank you for your comments, the first two photos are part of the original posting plus one more bowl using the bowls from a board concept.

Thank you for the extra photos Peter. The ones looking down into the bowl are spectacular, still trying to get my head around how you assembled it. As Jim said, it must look awesome in the flesh.

I have to agree with the "awesome".

There must be something in the water up there in Mareeba and Edmonton - does it come in segments too!
