Started another batch of scoops this morning.427907427908427909427910

A sphere on a handle, halved on the bandsaw then hollowed in a home made collet. quick and easy if you avoid the propeller.

They look good Phil . I use a chuck with a diameter slightly greater than the length of the spoon which avoids the propeller problem .

I should have said radius not diameter . I'll try and post a picture but I am having trouble locating pictures at the moment .

Yes, I agree they are excellent.
Phil, is the dust collection pipe behind the spoons in the first picture fixed or moveable?

It's 6inch sewer pipe witha high volume industrial exhaust fan venting direct to the great outdoors. The elbow you can see sits on a 300mm straight that sits on a wooden flange.

It's free to rotate 360 but I use about 45 degrees of that. I fire it up for sanding and it clears the air very nicely and quiet too. Oh, the neighbour is 60odd metres away. Phil.
