Hi,

I wonder if anybody have a solution to get the rip fence on the right side of the blade and still be able to use the measurement ruler ?

I really feel unsafe with the rip fence on the left.
Therefore I never use the ruler :-(

Can be done..I had mine set up that way and no problems - there are "sticly labels" for the pointers (in the assembly pack) that are put in the correct reference points, and that works fine until you clean the top with solvent. they dissolve. I ended up using a fine felt marker over a scratch I made at the right place and that worked well.
I re-set the fence when I sold the 2000
Good luck

If you don't have the stickers as Sandy said you could just put a scratch mark which is what i also did.
Just place the fence on the oposite side and place it up to the blade till the blade just scrapes across it....(same way as when you first set the saw) when this is done you now have your 0 marks so just put a scrape there and work of that.....(might be an idea to use a marker pen first then do a trial cut to make sure your markings are accurate.

Try e-mailing a request to Triton for some of the stickers- they have rolls of them in the service department, and I have always found they are extremely helpful- I'd be surprised if they didn't drop some in the mail to you.

WCA314 Scale Pointer Labels 1pr is the part number, and the website specifies they are available separately.

The benefit of using the stickers, rather than just a scratched mark, is the same reason the workbench doesn't just use a pointer, and has a cut slot- it acts as a calibration to allow accuracy to +/_ .5mm
They are a specific width that acts as a minor scale to give you greater accuracy.

Don't worry about the markings on the table. I never used them when I had a triton.
buy your self a long steel rule and measure to the fence front & rear of the blade. You will find accuracy that will surprise.
