Haven’t touched pens for a couple of years, so knocked up a couple this morning but I have realised that a mini lathe must be easier to do pens on. Are the cheaper ($400) type mini/midi lathes ok for pens.

My first lathe I got about 10 years ago was a Carbetec Midi lathe that cost me under $300 and although I have graduated from that lathe it is still going strong and has done plenty of pens
