Chisel sharpening

Hi guys,

Newbie here I’m looking to get my set of standard lathe chisels sharpened. I’m struggling to find anywhere that’ll do lathe chisels, any suggestions? Around the central coast NSW

Gus, woodturning chisels require sharpening several times a day.
I suggest you get yourself to the Central Coast Woodturners (http://www.ccwt.org.au/) in Wyong and ask nicely.
You never know, you might join and learn alot, it's that type of club.

2 in one week, to put it simply you need to learn to sharpen them yourself, on most projects you will need to sharpen a number of times during the work

This question pops up from time to time.
It’s like buying a car you can own a car, but un less you know how to drive and have a license.
Not really much fun.
I know it’s hard at the beginning but learning to keep your tools sharp, is like a two lane highway one lane is woodwork one is tool sharping[emoji849].
