Gidday all, I've been offered one of the above, with chisels and chucks, etc. Single phase 3/4 hp motor.
Anyone here had experience with them and have idea on value?
Think it needs a tidy up, the only photo I've seen is a bit blurry so won't repost here.
Cheers.

Have found out they were a variant of a Rockwell/Delta model.

I just came to post that :)

A picture would help get some comments I think, even if it’s not a great one. Do you know what the swing over the bed is - unless you’re planning to specialise in spindle turning the swing is almost more important than the bed length.

Think the swing is about 350mm. There's aheap of accessories in the bench as well.

Lance, that looks like a delta Milwaukee 13-60. My number might be 14-60 instead. It's a well built lathe with a 12" swing. Some were 11". If you were to change out the motor to a 3 phase 1 1/2 hp, replace the bearings with new ones and get a VFD to power it, you would have a lathe comparable to any of the new lathes with variable speed sold today.... It's a good lathe.......... Jerry (in Tucson) USA

Sounds right, Tauco being the overseas manufacturing arm of Rockwell/Delta.

I think it is a 1460 and there is lots of photos on this site :)

As one of our Rugby League coaches used to say to his players, looks like "You done good!"

Cheers, Gary H
