Hi guys , come on you lot , there must be others on the forum
that are entering ! If we as woodturners don, t support these
kind of events they will dissappear , the AWTEX is only held
Once a year and is a great event in the woodturning calendar
and needs our support to continue , we should also appreciate
the huge effort of the volunteers and the organizers that put this
event on each year , also the sponsors that supply the great prizes
you can win , ............OK .........rant over !!!!!!!:U

Unfortunately, I won't be entering, due to some unexpected developments, over the past twelve months. The AWtex is an excellent exhibtion, the judging is as unbiased procedure as I have come across, done by people that know what they are looking at. I can only speak well of the organization of and execution of the exhibition. Have a go, you might surprise yourself. I know I did in 2010.

Hopefully not, but I has just sent the most likely contenders off in another direction. So had to send the second string stuff instead
