Adapter for dovetail chuck

I have a Myford ML8 lathe brought to OZ from the UK. The outboard spindle has a LH thread. I have a spare insert for my chuck and need to find an engineering shop (in Melbourne)who will cut the appropriate thread at a reasonable price. Any ideas?
