New an opionion Please

Hi and a Merry Christmas to all,
I have come across a couple of second hand lathes a Vicmarc VL850, from what I read in these forums Vicmarc have a good reputation but I cant seem to find out any specs about this lathe, bed length, turning dia etc.

I also have come across a Technatool with a 1m bed 6 speed, dont have the model number (sorry). I was wondering what the technatool lathes are like, begginer etc or is it for the more advanced.

A bit more info about the Technatool lathe:
The head and the rests are yellow, the bed is a piece of box tubing about 2" square which is mounted in a diamong shape passing through everything head etc.
The sgaft passes through the head so you can do outrigging turning, there is a special tool rest for this
