Hello,

I'm about to purchase my first ever real table saw. The one I'm considering is an Xcalibur BRS1 12" 3Hp. It's available in both single and three phase versions.

Does anyone know of any issues concerning Xcalibur table saws?

If you want you can check out the BRS1 at http://www.ronmack.com.au/htmldocs/woodworking_machinery.html

look under "saws - bench rip"

It looks very similar (which means: it is probably identical if not made in the same factory) to the Leda machine I bought second hand some years ago. Hasn't given me a lick of a problem ever.

Thanks Mark. The reason I'm considering this particular table saw is because of the extra cutting depth available on a 12" model.

I have a 12' Leda also. It looks similar to my 12HK. I have had occassion to call Leda for some parts and the service and support was fantastic. I'd recommend that you check them out.

Hi Glen,

$1900.00 delivered. But I am also buying some other stuff with it, that may've brought the price down a fraction.
