Who's the Australian soccer coach who just got us into the world cup

Who is the Australian Basketball Coach

Who are the Australian swimming coaches

Did you see the interview with Rod Marsh when he took the job at the English Cricket institute , He said he did it so that international cricket in England wouldn't Die out

Who sacked Dennis Lillie from his Australian coaching roll , not wanted in Australia anymore but everywear else wants him

And as far as Greg Chappell , they can have him and his underarm crap cause that wasn't Australian anyway

Maybe more to the point we should try the Australian Cricket Board or the selectors for their head in the sand attitude

Nah the poor blokes have got to earn a quid somehow.

I wonder if Big Tom Moody will last longer than Johnny Dyson as the Sri Lankan's coach?

Get the best coaches available no matter what the sport. It's got to be good for the game(s) in the long run.

the selectors for their head in the sand attitude

I actually think that the selectors have done an excellent job. Certainly not without mistakes. The success of the Australian team for the last 15 years or so.

Their bigest mistake in my eyes was not dropping Taylor when he hadn't made a test 50 in 18 months. They probably dropped Boon too soon when he was out of form. Took them years to find a replacement in Slater.

Our selectors have been superb. critisised for showing NSW bias but it has always paid of. And Slater shouldnt have been dropped in the first place (anti-nsw bias... hmmm) just like Marto shouldnt have. their biggest mistake was having the no balls to appoint Warno as the rightfull captain of Australia:(

Maybe the ex Ozzies are doing us a favour, going by the Shri Lanka effort any way.

Bulltish. After his Ashes series, he deserved to go. It's turned out to be the best thing that could have happened to him.

And Slater is an idiot.

What a gumby thing to say. with over 4000 runs at 48 and a rock in the middle order. A few ordinary ashes matches like half the team and a scape goat was wanted and he was it. and how was it good for him:confused: play more hit and giggle matches. your talkin gumby;)

And Slater is an idiot. more gumby talk;)

couple of poor selections were Mark Waugh hanging on forever and Darren Lehman not getting a proper go. We never got to see much of him at test level. Taylor hung on forever when he shouldn't have, Slats didn't deserve to go nor did Deano, actually Deano's 12 month average dropped to about 45 and they said he's no good got to drop him, Waugh went forever and he couldn't even make a top score of 45.

As for Warne he should have been shot for the betting fiasco and never heard of again. What about getting a let off for drugs. Only wanted to come back from injury for the world cup needed diuretics to cover up his steroid use and got off by making the excuse his mum gave it too him to help him loose weight! It was meant to be a 3 year ban minimum. How he got past that one says something pretty bad about Australia. Especially considering how we complain about anyone else using drugs in sport.

Rubbish. He was/is vastly overrated. Great shield player, not up to it at the top level. There have been many like that.

Taylor hung on forever when he shouldn't have,

He was the best captain we've had in many years. It's hard to drop the captain.

Slats didn't deserve to go

Yes he did. How quickly you forget. :(

He had problems with the officials but a very good player who got too big for his boots. And still is.

to cover up his steroid use and got off by making the excuse his mum gave it too him to help him loose weight! I

never been proven and never tested positive to steroids. he's just an idiot.

I don't agree with any of that. On this I'm with Gumby. Mark Waugh was the best no 4 that Australia has had for years and a hell of a slip fielder.

You musn't like cricket much if you would prefer to have missed Warne's performances since the betting fiasco and he was banned for using a diuretic not a steroid.

I've said it before, as a bloke he's a plomker as a cricketer he's the sort of player that only comes along once in a lifetime.

Why do you think he made Wisden's list of the top five cricketers of all time?

Perhaps he bribed the judges?

The perscribed punishment for player taking ANY banned substance is two years. A diuretic is a banned substance. Why did Warnie only get one year?

The betting fiasco and this show that Cricket Australia is more interested in winning than ethics. They are not alone.

There is a cricket bylaw that states "That the Captain of the Australian team is not allowed to be a complete tosser". This is why Warnie wasn't made captain.

Agree 1000% (:( except as a bloke he's a plomker:( ) if their is such a number. to all those woosie whiners and do-gooders who probably have secret desires to become socialist workers:p :p :p :p :p :p

Warnie is our cricketing god. the old timers had the Don we have Warno:D :D :D and i hope he continues on till he`s 55 even if it means his mum has to keep slippin him mickeys. we have seen nothing like him before and will not see someone like him in our lifetime. lets just enjoy those awsom legies, flippers, zooters and the odd wrongun not to mention some great battin exceptional slips fielding and 1st rate vice-captaincy for as long as wee can, and if you listen to and read interviews from people who know him they have nothing put praise for being a genuine good bloke who would do anything for anyone. if i had what he had i wouldnt be able to keep my pecker away either:D :D :D Hail to the great man:o

He had to live in Victoria the whole time.

P (who thinks the more ex cricketers who coach offshore, the less chance of them turning up in the Channel 9 Inannity box)

:D
