Compliments of The Readers Digest.

AN INDEPENDENT TRUCKER with a distinctive-looking
rig, my husband followed simple directions to a delivery
location: "Take exit 20, turn right, then take second left."
Ending up back on the highway, he turned around and
tried again, but the same thing happened. He called the
company and was given somewhat different directions.
He tried it the new way twice, but ended up back on the
highway in the opposite direction. Frustrated, he
remembered seeing a police car parked off the road at
the right turn. Exiting the highway for the fifth time, he
pulled up, walked over and asked the officer how to get
to his destination, a supply store. "Just sit tight," the
officer said without hesitation. "Your trucks have been
coming by all morning. All you have to do is follow the
next one that gets off the highway."--Contributed to "All
