So which glue do I use on African blackwood?

With it's waxy sorta feel I reckon I'm gonna be in trouble so what do I use peoples?

If the timber is waxy or oily try giving it wipe with meths or acetone prior to gluing up with AR (Titebond etc).

Outback, dont stress, a quick wipe with a solvent will be all you need. a good pva (wait till the solvent has fully evaporated before using pva), urea or epoxy will all work. the worst thing about that timber is its dynamite on ur blades. tungsten / carbide tipped almost esential. its a beautiful timber isnt it:D :D

Thanks for that. I didn't think it would be all that simple.
Yes, the timber is striking, I only have/had a small piece so I'm using it as a contrast, and yes it's bloody hard on the tools.

So Al, which witches are we talking about? :D
