Thanks mate, but they don't stock the one I'm after. Haven't seen it on Ebay, nor can I source it in through Collins. Dammit!

Anyone know where I can find "Beyond Basic Turning: Off-Centre, Coopered & Laminated Work" by Jack Cox?

Skew..., check back later as they continually change. They re sell excess stock etc from various books shops. Failing that heres some links that I have used, if that fails I have a dozen or so more, one way or another you should find your book.

But on another note your saw dust furnace. I have located everything except the darn 30gal drum, never seen one?? Hughie

Buggrit! I googled "Beyond Basic Turning" but got so many hits I was lost in 30 seconds. I never thought to try the whole damned title. :o

I tried Abes, which is basically just a listing of independant book-sellers, but every hit it gave me turned out to be a case of "Oh, we sold that just the other day." :(

I can't say I've ever seen a 30 gal drum either, I used a 20gal. You can also get 12gal, I think. It may be possible to pick up a 125-150ltr drum nowadays, I haven't really looked. Mine was a Forfane II (trichlorofluoromethane, I think. ) chemical drum, but I'm pretty sure they still use 'em for fuel oil and the like as well. Not quiklok tops like the 44's, but still usable with a little ingenuity.
