Cheap MC900 - type lathe at SuperCHeap

Spotted a lathe in SuperCheap Auto (LakeHave - NSW Central Coast), reduced from $399 to $199.

On a cursory overview, it looked very much like a dark green MC900. Cast iron bed, not flimsy folded stuff.

Might interest someone budget-challenged out there. Not sure if this special is available in other stores.

Thanks for the heads-up Andrew.

While the design of MC900 type lathes seems now to be pretty standard, they can be assembled with parts of varying quality, so as always, caveat emptor.

The one at Essendon store was still marked at $399 yesterday when I called in to look at 2HP direct Drive Compressor at $79-00
