I am a relative "new comer" to the world of woodturning and have found the bulletin board a very useful source of information. Hopefully it will now work to solve this problem!

I was recently given a lathe which was still packaged in the box but without any manuals or instructions. Not the ones on how to turn wood... the ones on how to assemble the thing.
The lathe is a Carbatec, made in approx 1996 and has a single pipe bed (2 pipes joined end to end). I'm affraid thats the best description I can give.

If anyone can help with information on where I could get a manual, what they are like to use, etc, it would be greatly appreciated. I'm keen to get the wood spinning!!!!!

Glen - The most obvious answer that immediately springs to mind, is, ask Carba Tec (Melb ph# is 03 9427 8444).
