Is this like the John Cleese funny walk?

Anyhow, what are you doing with turnings? Thought you were agin lathes?

Renaissance? Born Again? Bored? Mid Life Crisis?

They do look nice.

Good post Alex.

Seems so much of the leading edge turning work these days just starts with the lathe.

Turn a closed-form vessel. Turn a plug to seal the vessel. Treat the plug with pesticide. Place trained termites in vessel. Insert plug securely. Wait.
