Hi. I am considering buying a radial arm saw, specifically a secondhand DeWalt 1251. I can't find any online information via Google or the usual forums. I am checking it out tomorrow and will not know its size, hp, etc. until then.
My intention is to use the RAS for dado's, lap joints and ripping.
Can anyone comment on the pro's/con's of this or any RAS? Things to look out for and other suggestions are most welcome.
For reference, I have a 12" SCMS, 10" TS, 6" Jointer, 20" planer and 18" BS.
