Can anyone tell me where I can get a hold of a faceplate at 10 turns per inch, reverse thread for outboard turning on a Teknatool lathe circa 1990 ?
I had a reply from someone once before but was not in the position to take them up on the offer.

I know his name was Neil however the Neil I emailed says it wasn't him and that there are a few Neil's on this site.

Now, which one was he ?

I bought 2 LH thread 1" x10tpi faceplates at Gregory's Machinery in Brisbane but it was about 6 years ago. Had all intentions of making an outboard sanding disc for the Woodfast lathe at work but never got around to it...yet.

Do you want to sell one of them ?

Sorry no. I'm keeping one for my lathe and Dads keeping the other one for his.

This may sound a bit radical but have you emailed Teknatool and asked them about faceplates? :D

You can buy directly from them.
