If you are having any issues with the videos or the downloads, please post them in this thread.

This thread is open for all members to share problems and solutions.

If you can help or have some tips, please feel free to post them here. :)

One of the problems in watching the videos can be that you get a picture, but no sound. This means you don't have the codecs (the code which was used to create the video file) in your computer, but they can easily be downloaded.

To make it easy, just get the latest versions of Windows Media Player or DivX Player and you should be fine.

Windows Media Player (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/download/download.aspx)

DivX Player (http://www.divx.com/divx/windows/download/?tiger_aff=s&cc=B_fcid=000092&gclid=CN22spmA_okCFRfOggodPy40Qg)

I had a PM about whether the videos would work on an Apple computer.

They should, as long as you download the Apple version of Windows Media player from here:

Apple mac wmv Player (http://www.microsoft.com/mac/otherproducts/otherproducts.aspx?pid=windowsmedia)

Don't forget to get the DivX Codec for the Mac.

Ok - hold up on that.

I had run a search on the forum, but without luck.

Wading through threads manually turned up a comment by jchappo about running Gspot to identify missing codecs. I did it and it says I'm missing something called DX50/div Divx6.4.0. I need to find and download this file. Presumably its like a driver file.

I'm doing that now.

Gee, for someone initiated into computers using DOS and running batch files, this is a whole new language!

You're on the right track. it's the codec which is missing.

The latest Windows Media Player version should work , as will DivX player which is a free download (use google to find it)

See the previous solutions to the codec issue.

Try downloading DivX player.

Or request a forum DVD in the appropriate thread.
